1st Choice Doors, LLC. offers all types of residential and light commercial doors. We offer door types ranging from garage doors to entry doors and various styles of patio doors. All doors are available in many different styles, colors and materials to meet your project's specific needs. History Established in 2012. 1st Choice Doors, LLC. was founded to allow Northern Indiana customers an opportunity to receive quality products, exceptional service and the knowledge customers need and deserve from a garage door and entry door company. With many years of experience in garage door and entry door sales, service and installation, founder Lawrence Chapman wanted to give customers a new choice by starting 1st Choice Doors, LLC. 1st Choice Door, LLC. believes that by providing the customer with all of the facts, information and choices about a product the customer can then make the best choice for their specific needs and budget. We strongly feel that a customer does not need to be pressured into any purchase; once the customer has all the correct and honest information they will choose what is right for themselves. 1st Choice Doors, LLC. is a family-owned company that values and appreciates every customer regardless of job size or customer budget. Our goal is to build a strong long term relationship. Meet the Business Owner Lawrence Chapman Business Owner Lawrence Chapman started servicing and installing garage doors and entry doors while still in high school. Lawrence started in the field as an installer and service tech and moved up as a supervisor gaining invaluable hands on experience. Lawrence then moved to the sales side of the business. In this position he learned many of the operating aspects of the door industry. After a couple of years Lawrence wanted to start a new company with two basic principles: give all customers the respect and the honesty they deserve along with the quality products customers should expect from a professional company. Lawrence is very much hands on and often still performs service and installations. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family and working on building projects with 6 sons, Gage, Kyle, Kameron, Gavin, Brayden and Evan. Lawrence is an Indiana native who attended Mishawaka Public schools before attending Stratford Career Institute studying Business Management, Residential Electrical, PC Repair & Upgrade, and getting certified as a Master Roofer & Sider. Lawrence currently resides in South Bend IN.
